B2C Operations Assistant

Overview

The B2C Operations Assistant works closely with the operations team to coordinate client communications, manage documentation, track project milestones, and ensure that payments and deliverables are processed accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has strong analytical and computer skills.

Responsibilities

As a B2C Operations Assistant at Builders Group Holdings Inc., you will be responsible for providing operational support to our construction project teams and clients:

  • Process client orders, coordinate project documentation, and maintain accurate records of project activities and milestones.
  • Depending on the needs of our clients, you will manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, track payments, and route communications to the appropriate department or project team.
  • During the probation period, you will work under the supervision of your manager who will provide detailed instructions for performing your tasks, ensuring a smooth learning experience.
  • Your manager will guide you through our internal systems and processes so you can gain the necessary experience and contribute effectively from the start.
  • This position is available in your city of residence. Builders Group Holdings Inc. currently has approximately 180 operations representatives across Canada and the United States.
  • Assist with scheduling, invoicing, data entry, and general administrative duties related to active construction projects.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met on time.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for management review.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); College Degree preferred; experience and/or training, preferably in the construction, logistics, or operations industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in an administrative or operations support role is an asset but not required for this entry-level position.

Other Skills

The ideal candidate will have the ability to creatively problem-solve, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills, pay high attention to detail, be self-motivated, and use good judgement when making decisions. Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Familiarity with construction management software or project tracking tools is considered a plus.

Compensation

  • Full-Time: $33.40/hr
  • Part-Time: $33.40/hr
